Beef Chuck Roast
Generously season chuck roast with salt and pepper. Add olive oil to bottom of instant pot and saute all sides of roast. (This should take roughly 10 minutes)
Stir in onion, broth, Worcestershire sauce, (and anything you like in a roast, excluding vegetables or potatoes) and set InstantPot to pressure cook on high for 60 minutes.
After 60 minutes use the quick release per manufacturers guide and remove lid.
Add carrots and chopped potatoes and cook for another 10 minutes.
Add salt to taste.
*I suggest removing the fat from the beef before cooking if you prefer a more tender roast.
*I have made this using all sizes of beef chuck roasts and it seems to work every time.
