Dip tuna steaks in melted butter. Evenly coat with your favorite Blackening Seasoning. Don’t try to make your own, it will turn out way too salty, trust me I have tried 😉
Preheat a cast iron skillet on high without any oil. This is the perfect time to put the BBQ burner to use so your house doesn’t end up smokey and smelling like fish.
Toss the steaks in for 2 minutes per side. Pictured below. These were amazing for steaks but if you want to slice them thin for Ahi, cook them 1 minute per side. Adjust cooking time to your preference.
